Pruning Saw

A Dual Purpose Pruning Saw with the front of blade with fine teeth and the back two thirds of the blade with larger teeth with a nice overall length bridging the gap between small folding saws and the larger Silky Pruning Saws I also sell. It has nice plastic Sheaf  to protect the blade and allow you to attach it to your belt.

Silky Saws

Produce some of the best fixed non folding Pruning Saws that money can buy in both straight and curved designs once again very good Japanese tools.

Arthur & Strange Opinion

This is a great Pruning Saw with an very interesting added extra feature. Being a Straight blade it is designed for cutting mainly below the shoulder height compared to curved blades which are designed for above the shoulder height. At 240 mm long its a great addition to your Pruning Saw collection or a very good all rounder if you just want to buy one very good saw.

The blade has two different teeth profiles, the smaller fine teeth at the front of the blade allow you to use the saw on some quite small delicate work or for simply getting a good grove going without damaging the branch or the trunk. Once you have a decent grove to saw into the whole blade length can be used with the larger teeth at the back two thirds ripping thru the pruning cut like you would expect any Silky saw to do!

Such a clever idea that works easily in practice with the same quality and craftsmanship long associated with Silky Pruning Saws. A very good buy.
